Account Assistant [Malaysia]


 

Requirement:

  • Possess at least a Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Human Resource/Business Administration or any other related field/qualifications
  • Minimum 1-2 years of working experience
  • Accountability, proactive and protective of confidential information with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to multitask
  • Required languages: English & Bahasa Malaysia
  • Able to start work immediately will be an added advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software such as excel
  • Effective time management
  • Good to handling and resolve any problem with ant condition
  • 20 - 26 years old

Responsibility:

  • Perform day-to-day processing of AR transactions to ensure the collections are on effective, up to date and accurate
  • Handle Account Receivables such as preparing and entering official receipt, invoices data and payment receive in AutoCount accounting system
  • Issuing payment-related documents and creditor reconciliation and prepare the monthly statement of account
  • To co-perform monthly reconciliation schedules and follow up on the outstanding items (e.g., creditors, debtors, bank accounts, inter-company reconciliation and etc.)
  • Manage existing & new customers on inquiries (through email & verbal communications) and to follow-up on jobs based on schedules
  • To coordinate upon receiving Purchase Orders from customer and liaise accordingly with respective departments
  • Assist in sales transactions (Invoice and DO) and daily account transactions, checking, verification
  • Coordinate with contractors or suppliers to collect cheque and documents & arrange for courier services where required
  • Issue debit notes and credit notes in a timely manner
  • Verifying claims, matches invoices to authorized purchase orders and proofs of receipt
  • Assist in month end closing, monthly submission of reports, audits and related documentations
  • Monitor and follow up on collection, liaise with sales person or customer on outstanding debts
  • Assist in full set account
  • Able to handle partial or full set of account
  • Assist in ad-hoc assignments and any other related tasks as and when required by superior

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
